The Deputy Airport Director, Innovation & Technology is responsible for building a brand-new IT Division that will develop the vision and mission that connects airport operations to business needs. They are also responsible for overseeing projects such as the replacement of the Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS), Parking Access Revenue Control System (PARCS), and the development of a multi-year technology strategy.
Mr. Payne has over 20 years of experience in airport technology and innovation management. Prior to joining JWA, he was the CEO and principal consultant for Pueblo Technology Group, Inc., a management consulting firm that provides services to technology providers and the public-sector transportation industry. He spent 10 years in public sector as CIO of San Francisco International Airport where he established and then oversaw front and back office operations.
