Hector Gomez serves as the Fiscal Deputy Director, Finance Administration, and is responsible for leading and overseeing John Wayne Airport's Finance Administration Division, including the Finance, Budget, Procurement, Controller Satellite Accounting, Grant Administration, and Agenda Staff Report units. The Finance Division's financial functions include preparing the annual budget, strategic financial plan, financial statements, and airline rates and charges; managing the debt program, grant program, and Passenger Facility Charge program; providing procurement services and support, accounting and payroll services, asset control and inventory; and agenda staff report administration and Airport Commission coordination.

Hector has worked at the County of Orange for 19 years in various finance, accounting, and budget roles, including over 15 years at John Wayne Airport. Hector also held other finance related positions with the Auditor-Controller and OC Sheriff's Department. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside.
