John Wayne Airport is starting its next session of our new educational program, JWA AirACADEMY. The program is designed to engage with community members and provide an overview of the Airport. AirACADEMY is an educational outreach initiative aimed at offering residents a comprehensive understanding of the Airport's operations. Participants learn how technical processes, service programs, and business partners work together to implement the successful operation of John Wayne Airport.
The curriculum reflects the Airport’s mission to connect people, places, and opportunities. With classes offering firsthand experiences for attendees, participants will learn about sustainable aviation practices, community outreach and engagement efforts, operational security practices, and upcoming programs and enhancements taking place at the Airport.
