JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT POSTS SEPTEMBER 2010 STATISTICS (Revised)**

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport decreased in September 2010 as compared to September 2009. In September 2010, the Airport served 683,999 passengers, a decrease of 3.5% when compared to the September 2009 passenger traffic count of 709,101.

Commercial aircraft operations decreased 4.1%, while Commuter aircraft operations decreased 62.8% when compared to the levels recorded in September 2009.

Total aircraft operations decreased in September 2010 as compared to the same month in 2009. In September 2010, there were 22,850 total aircraft operations (take-offs and landings), a decrease of 4.1% when compared to 23,828 total aircraft operations in September 2009.

General aviation activity, which accounted for 69% of the total aircraft operations during September 2010, decreased 1.2% when compared to September 2009.
