John Wayne Airport Announces the Results of its Economic Impact Study
At the beginning of March, John Wayne Airport (JWA) released an Economic Impact Study that was recently completed by InterVISTAS Consulting, LLC. The study measured the direct, indirect and induced economic impacts generated by JWA in Orange and three adjacent counties (Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino).
The study showed that JWA generates $6 billion in total impacts, adds $3.3 billion in Gross Domestic Product to the economy and supports 43,000 jobs that generate $1.7 billion in earnings. These strong results highlight JWA's contribution to the county's and region's economy.
JWA prides itself on creating and supporting vital connections with Orange County commerce and the community.
