JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT TO HOST AMERICAN RED CROSS
BLOOD DRIVE

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Passengers traveling to and from John Wayne Airport on Monday, April 16, 2007 will have an opportunity to donate blood from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross will have its Bloodmobile parked at John Wayne Airport’s Thomas F. Riley Terminal on the arrival (lower) level of Terminal A, outside of the baggage claim area. Passengers, meeters and greeters, and employees are encouraged to participate.

The blood drive is a convenient way for willing employees and passengers to donate to a good cause,” said Alan L. Murphy, airport director. “Passengers can give blood while they wait for their flights, and our employees can donate blood at their place of business.”

Appointments can be made in advance online at www.givelife.org and by typing in JohnWayneAirport (no spaces), clicking on JWA Bloodmobile and then clicking on the appointment time of choice.
