“ORANGE COUNTY” ON DISPLAY AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT

SANTA ANA, Calif. – As part of its ongoing Art Program, John Wayne Airport (JWA) is currently featuring some of the best elements of Orange County in an exhibition titled “Orange County on Display.” Guest curator for this exhibit, Karin Schnell, formerly of Arts Orange County, organized “Orange County on Display” which features Orange County’s finest natural, educational, historical, cultural and professional sports venues. The exhibition is organized by the five Orange County Supervisorial Districts.

“Our intent is to highlight the beautiful parks, unique architectural designs and other venues and one-of-a-kind features that make Orange County the multi-faceted gem it is today,” said Karin Schnell.

Passengers traveling through JWA will see more than 100 spectacular photos and commentary about major colleges and universities, County parks, museums, and highly-regarded venues including the Discovery Science Center, Orange County Performing Arts Center, Heritage House Arboretum and the Festival of the Arts.

The Exhibition will be on display in the Vi Smith Concourse Gallery (across from gates 1 through 4 and 11 through 14) at the Riley Terminal and can be viewed by the traveling public through March 2007.
