News Release September 3, 2003 Atlantic
South East Airlines Begins Santa Ana, CA – John Wayne Airport is pleased to announce today that Atlantic South East Airlines (ASA) has begun new commuter service with three daily flights for travelers heading to Dallas/Fort Worth and Salt Lake City. ASA is a commuter carrier for Delta Airlines, which also currently operates out of John Wayne Airport. New service began on Monday, September 1, 2003. ASA’s service is part of the new capacity allocated through the Amended Settlement Agreement that governs passenger capacity at John Wayne Airport. “We are excited about the new service provided through ASA,” said Airport Director Alan L. Murphy. “This allows travelers more options to two great destinations when scheduling their travel plans out of John Wayne Airport.” This marks ASA’s first entry into John Wayne Airport, however their partner, Delta Airlines had been providing service since 1987 and is one of twelve commercial airlines serving the Airport. – SNA – |
