Santa Ana, CA – It’s that time of year again, summer getaways, heading to the beach, July 4th celebrations and catching up with family and friends. So make sure that your summer travel plans start out on the right foot by allowing yourself adequate time to catch your flight at John Wayne Airport (JWA). JWA travelers are advised to call their airlines ahead of time to check flight status and to allow at minimum 2 hours for parking, baggage check-in and security screening. The travel bug has definitely returned to Southern California as has its accompanying traffic and long lines. As more and more Southern Californians head to their summer destinations there are those that have been left behind, literally. Don’t risk missing your flight as others have by not checking ahead and allowing yourself ample time between locking your house door and sitting in your airplane seat. As always, the best preparation starts at home and JWA has made this process even more convenient with our updated website at www.ocair.com with links to information related to flight schedules, driving directions, travel tips, parking instructions and even traffic alerts updated as they happen.
