JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT REOPENS ALL ACCESS ROADS
TO THE TERMINAL |
|
Santa Ana, CA - Today, John Wayne Airport reopened all access roads into the Airport’s terminal roadway system. In addition, the roadway inspection checkpoints instituted on February 20 at the direction of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have been removed. The TSA officially notified the Airport this morning that the alert level issued by the Department of Homeland Security was lowered to Yellow (elevated) from Orange (high) Alert. "John Wayne Airport remains committed to working with local, state and federal officials to provide a safe and secure environment for visitors and passengers to the Airport," said Airport Director Alan L. Murphy. "On behalf of the Airport, I want to thank all of our visitors for their cooperation and understanding during this time." Passengers are advised to arrive two hours prior to their scheduled flight to allow time for parking, check-in and the security screening process. Passengers may park in any of the Terminal garages, A1, B1, A2 and B2 during their trip. At this time, you may only enter the parking garages from the upper level. Please be aware that if you do park in any of the Terminal garages, your vehicle may be subject to search by Airport Police Services. Additional parking is available in Valet Parking, or the Main Street Parking Lot.
