LOCAL ARTIST FEATURED IN JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT’S COMMUNITY FOCUS PROGRAM

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Paintings by Mona-Lisa Lind are on display through October 15, 2007 as part of John Wayne Airport’s (JWA) ongoing “Community Focus Program” featuring local Orange County artists. Lind’s paintings are displayed in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal on the departure (upper) level between the ticket counter and security checkpoint areas and on the arrival (lower) level near baggage carousels 1 and 4. An example can be seen below.

Lind, a native of Sweden, immigrated to the United States in 2001 and currently resides in Manhattan Beach, Calif. She is one of more than 70 artists featured since the inception of JWA’s Community Focus Program in 1996. She has been involved in a number of solo and group exhibitions including the Museum in Falun, Sweden; Los Angeles County Museum’s Art and Sales Gallery, and most recently at the Santa Monica Art Studio.
