A variety of ground transportation options are available at John Wayne Airport (JWA) conveniently connecting the Airport to surrounding hotels, tourist attractions, businesses, and residencies. These options include rental cars, commercial and courtesy shuttles, taxis, scheduled buses and shuttles, and limousines.

Ground transportation pick-up locations are in the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) within easy walking distance from the Baggage Claim area. The GTC is located on the Arrival (lower) Level in the center between the A2 and B2 Parking Structures and can be reached from the Thomas F. Riley Terminal by crossing the Airport roadway at the traffic light near the John Wayne Statue. Car rental pick-up and return is located on the Ground Level of the GTC.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and The i shuttle bus stop is located on the Terminal side, south of the GTC.
