CONSTRUCTION ALERT
UNITED AIRLINES TICKETING TO MOVE TO TERMINAL C
US AIRWAYS SCREENS BAGS IN TERMINAL B LOBBY
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2012

WHAT:
Effective Wednesday, April 25, United Airlines will temporarily move their ticket counter operations to Terminal C. US Airways counter operations will remain in Terminal B and baggage will be temporarily screened adjacent to their ticket counter. The temporary move of United Airlines ticket counters and lobby baggage screening for US Airways is necessary to allow the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to make security upgrades to the baggage handling system in Terminal B.

WHEN:
Effective Wednesday, April 25 - for a period of approximately eight (8) weeks.

WHY:

• Departing United Airlines passengers with bags to check-in will use the designated ticket counters in Terminal C and the passenger screening checkpoint in either Terminal B or C;
• Departing US Airways passengers will continue to check bags at the Terminal B ticket counter; once checked-in, passengers will drop off their checked bags at a designated area adjacent to the ticket counter;
• Departing United Airlines and US Airways passengers who do not need to check bags or visit the ticket counter may go directly to the passenger screening checkpoint in Terminal B or C;
• Arriving United Airlines and US Airways passengers will continue to claim their bags in Terminal B baggage claim.

While construction is underway, passengers should give themselves 90 minutes to two hours to find parking, check their luggage and go through the security checkpoint to ensure they are at their gate in time for their flight.
