Construction Stages

JWA’s Improvement Program is a multi-year program that includes the construction of a new terminal, two new parking structures and several updates to the existing terminal. The Improvement Program will be completed in stages and every effort will be made to mitigate the impact on our passengers and airlines.

Stage 1

• Build new South Remain-Over-Night (RON) aircraft parking area
• Stripe area for temporary surface parking (1,200 spaces)

Existing Facilities Under Construction Construction Complete

 

Stage 2

• Open surface parking and provide free shuttle service between parking area and the Riley Terminal
• Close and demolish B1 Parking Structure

Stage 3

• Begin construction of new Terminal C
• Construct new 2,000+ space B1 Parking Structure
• Construct new south commuter/regional facility

Stage 4

• Open new Terminal C
• Open new B1 Parking Structure
• Relocate aircraft to new South RON
• Construct new C1 parking structure and new north commuter/regional facility
