Saturday and Night Work (10/31 - 11/3/09)
WHAT:
Saturday work, Oct. 31: Construction activity is planned this Saturday, Oct. 31 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the construction site of Terminal C. Although efforts are being made to minimize impacts from the construction, noise may be heard as a result of ongoing pile driving activity.
Night work, Beginning Nov. 2: Construction activity is planned during the nighttime hours beginning Monday, Nov. 2 from 11:00 pm through 7:00 am and will occur nightly (Monday through Friday) through November. The work will be confined to the upper level of the terminal roadway near the construction site of new Terminal C. During this time, contractors will be performing demolition of concrete as well as hauling of materials from the site.
WHEN:
Saturday, Oct. 31, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 2 through late November from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
WHY:
Improvements are underway at John Wayne Airport and include construction of Terminal C, Parking Structure C, Central Utility Plant and many other improvements throughout the Airport facility. Construction activity is expected to be complete in late 2011.
