This section provides information on programs and services the Airport offers to the Orange County community.
Access & Noise
The Access & Noise section gives insight into the Access Plan and the provisions of the Settlement Agreement. In order to monitor and enforce the Settlement Agreement restrictions, the Access and Noise Office utilizes a state-of the-art noise monitoring system that enables us to track each air carrier and general aviation operations. The AirportMonitor, a local flight tracking system, enables members of the community to log on to and track the flight data from the convenience of their home.
Airport Arts Program
The Airport Arts Program presents museum quality exhibitions in the Terminal,
provides periodic special programs in conjunction with the exhibitions
and sponsors a county-wide Annual Student Art Contest/Exhibition.
Ambassador Program
“Goodwill” Ambassadors are volunteers trained in customer service to assist passengers with any questions they have about John Wayne Airport’s facility or services. Information they provide includes directions to particular airlines, gates, restaurants, restrooms, phones, and rental car counters.
Tour Program
John Wayne Airport's Tour Program offers guided group tours of the Thomas F. Riley Terminal free of charge. Volunteer tour guides, including private pilots,
teachers, executives and Airport employees, donate their time to
familiarize the public with the Terminal.
